BMF Show 2005

The DOC put on its usual excellent display at the BMF Show.

First we set up the membership stall to attract in the passing Ducatisti......

then the club regalia stocks came out of the boxes and up on display..........

A fine collection of classic singles was assembled........

along with some luvverly bevels..........

and a few modern classics too.

Some caught more than flies on the way....

.........then it started to rain...... ...and then a little harder

so everyone escaped into the DOC marquee while it continued.......

until we eventually chucked everyone out and we all drank Keith's birthday beer (ta Keith - hic)......

until it was time to put the bikes to bed for the night.............

and when we got up on Sunday we had our own paddling pool.........

but we still had the bikes to show off..........

and the crowd came along and marvelled at the spectacle ............

.......so we all went home happy on Sunday night.

Cold. Wet. Hypothermic. But happy.

Thanks are due to all the DOC Comittee members and helpers, who turned up to make it all happen, several of whom rode there and back in appalling weather for the benefit of the club, but especially to Guy Gagen, without whom this would not have happened.
